After a trip to Jamaica, Mason brought back seeds from the most exceptional Scotch Bonnets he could find. He then dedicated years to growing and carefully selecting only the pods that displayed the absolute best traits, resulting in this refined, stable, and truly superior variety.
The plant is a vigorous and heavy producer, yielding an abundance of beautifully wrinkled, golden-yellow pods that take on the classic, squashed "tam o' shanter" cap shape.
